WFDB, IDMA Presidents’ Meeting to be Held in Amsterdam

The World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) and the International Diamond Manufacturers Association (IDMA) will hold its President's Meeting in Amsterdam June 24-26.
The WFDB will discuss ongoing issues and prepare an agenda for next year’s congress, while the IDMA will focus on its continued involvement and support for the Kimberley Process as well as in the WFDB mark and CRJP projects.
The event, hosted by the Vereniging Beurs voorden Diamanthandel (the Amsterdam Diamond Exchange), marks the WFDB’s 60th anniversary.
Speakers include Job Cohen, the Mayor of Amsterdam; Ed Blik, president of the Vereniging Beurs voor den Diamanthandel; Varda Shine, managing director of the Diamond Trading Company (DTC); Ernest Blom, president of the WFDB, Jeffrey Fischer, president of IDMA; Gaetano Cavalieri, President of CIBJO, the World Jewellery Confederation, and Loet Kniphorst, Global Head of International Diamond & Jewelry Group at ABN AMRO bank.
