It is a common custom that at the beginning of a year to make at least one resolution for the New Year. Writers - be them journalists, biographers or fiction writers - often wonder about the thought process of the people they write about. What makes them tick, what are they losing sleep over and what are their secret desires.

It makes you wonder what people in this industry are thinking about, what are their New Year Resolutions. I didn’t ask anyone about their personal resolutions. It is more of an inner-heart quest, something you may want to take seriously, setting a direction for yourself in the coming year.
