De Beers LV Names Art Director

De Beers LV, the retail joint venture between De Beers and LVMH, has named 35 year old Raphaele Canot as its Art Director.

Canot is the former Jewelry Creative Director at Cartier. “Raphaele’s solid education and background in business marketing, combined with her creative talent and aesthetic sensitivity will be a distinctive asset for De Beers LV’s brand establishment”, said Guy Leymarie, company CEO.

De Beers LV was established in 2001 as an independently managed and operated company by De Beers SA and LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, a leading luxury goods company. 

As part of this venture agreement, De Beers SA transfers to De Beers LV the world-wide rights to use the De Beers brand name for luxury goods in consumer markets. The new company designs, manufactures and sells premium diamond jewelry in its own retail stores under the De Beers brand name.
