Mellier Receives Order of Friendship Award

(IDEX Online News) – Philippe Mellier, CEO De Beers Group, on Thursday received the prestigious Order of Friendship Award from the Russian Ambassador in honor of his contribution to Franco-Russian relations.

Prior to heading De Beers, Mellier was president of Alstom Transport for eight years. The award is in recognition of his contribution in the transport industry.

Ambassador Alexandre Orlov presented the award during a meeting of the Franco-Russian Dialogue at the Residence of the Ambassador.
