At its annual general meeting for fiscal 2012-13, which was held in Mumbai yesterday (Thursday), the GJF adopted a new charter as part of the transformational process.
The new charter has specifications and rules governing everything from who can be a member, through its structure and the processes for the election of its executive council and their terms of office.
As a recognized trade council, GJF will have government-nominated directors on its board – endorsing the body’s composition and processes are approved.
