The IDEX Online Polished Price Report for October 10, 2013

(IDEX Online News) – There were more rises this week than in previous weeks in round stones, however most changes were in a downward direction although some medium-size goods picked up, according to this week's IDEX Online Price Report.

Fancy shape diamonds showed many more increases than decreases, although the smallest and largest stones were largely unchanged.

Following are some of the changes in this week's IDEX Online Diamond Price Report.

• 0.18-0.22 cts I-K / VVS1 declining
• 0.23-0.29 cts almost unchanged
• 0.30-0.39 cts F / SI1 +2.9% to $1,800 p/c
• 0.40-0.44 cts K / VVS1 -2.8% to $1,750 p/c
• 0.45-0.49 cts E-F / IF declining by around 3%
• 0.50-0.69 cts I / I2 -4.6% to $1,050 p/c
• 0.70-0.79 cts M-N / SI2 declines of 3%
• 0.80-0.89 cts G-H / IF declining
• 0.90-0.99 cts N / SI2 -5.6% to $1,700 p/c
• 1.00-1.24 cts several declines of around 3%
• 1.25-1.49 cts M / I1 +5.3% to $2,000 p/c
• 2 cts E-N / I1 rises of between 2%-5%
• 3 cts  mostly declining
• 4 cts many rises
• 5 cts L / VS1 +3.3% to $13,600 p/c

• 0.30-00.39 cts declines in higher colors and better clarities
• 0.40-0.44 cts F/ IF +3.8% to $2,750 p/c
• 0.45-0.49 cts J-L / IF rises of 3%-4%
• 0.50-0.69 cts D / SI3-I3 rises of 2.6%-5.9%
• 0.70-0.79 cts just one change, a decline
• 0.80-0.89 cts unchanged
• 0.90-0.99 cts J / VS2 +3.6% to $2,900 p/c
• 1.00-1.24 cts H-I / IF declining
• 1.50-1.99 cts G-H / IF decreasing
• 2 cts M / VS2 +2.8% to $3,700 p/c
• 3 cts J / VS1 +2.9% to $10,600 p/c
• 4 cts unchanged
