The IDEX Online Polished Price Report for January 2, 2014

(IDEX Online News) – Round diamonds saw more trading activity, with results mixed, according to this week's IDEX Online Price Report.

In fancy shape diamonds, activity was also mixed with lower levels of business, as noted last week, continuing.

• 0.23-0.29 cts I-K / SI1 rises of 4-6%
• 0.30-0.39 cts E / SI1-SI2 rising
• 0.40-0.44 cts two changes, both risers

• 0.50-0.69 cts mostly declining
• 0.70-0.79 cts L / I1-I2 declining
• 0.80-0.89 cts L / I1-I2 decreasing
• 0.90-0.99 cts many decliners
• 1.00-1.24 cts almost unchanged
• 1.25-1.49 cts N / VVS2-VS1 declining
• 2 cts just one change, downwards
• 3 cts one decrease
• 4 cts many declines

• 0.23-0.29 cts G-I / IF declines of around 3.0%

• 0.45-0.49 cts E / IF +2.9% to $3,500 p/c
• 0.50-0.69 cts K / SI2 -4.2% to $1,150 p/c
