Indian Polished Exports - $787.51 Million in September

India has exported 3,522,000 carats in September to a tune of $787.51 million compared to exports of 3,273,000 carats at $615.33 million in September of last year.
Rough diamond exports during the month totaled $28.1 million for 4,813,000 carats, compared to $15.02 million in exports of 2,785,000 carats of rough during the comparable period last year.
According to the Gem and Jewelry Export Promotion Council, gold jewelry exports stood at $43.66 million during the month, a sharp drop compared to $133.56 million in exports in September 2002.
