Gunmen Rob Diamond Dealers in Miami
July 18, 04A gang of 10 masked gunmen attacked two Israeli diamond salesmen, robbing them of more than $800,000 in diamonds during a well-organized daytime robbery at a Miami gas station.
The attackers climbed out of three vehicles with weapons drawn and surrounded the salesmen's car as the two Israelis had finished pumping gas.
According to police reports, some of the robbers smashed the salesmen’s car windows, dragged the men out and beat them.
In addition to the diamonds, the gunmen took wallets, watches and jewelry.
The New York-based salesmen, identified as Efraim Sade, 39, and Shai Barbi, 30, were delivering diamonds to Florida businesses.
