IDL Appoints New Chief Operations and Technology Officer

International Diamond Laboratories (IDL) has announced the appointment of An Smet to the post of Chief Operations and Technology Officer.
IDL said that through the appointment it wishes to emphasize research and development as the major focal point of the labs’ strategy.
Smet has 15 years international management experience in technology, engineering and production companies. She was previously the General Manager of Punch Metals, a metal components and graphic technology manufacturer and the Director of Seghers Better Technology.
She will oversee the lab operations and research and development departments.
