NCDIA first-ever seminar series will be held on November 18 at the GIA Educational Center on Madison Avenue in New York City.
John King of the GIA, Steven Hofer of Fancy Colour Consultants and Cecilia Gardener of Jewelers Vigilance Committee will speak at the hands-on seminars. Topics to be covered include grading, cutting and investing in natural color diamonds, as well as standards and compliance.
“This special event is a unique opportunity to gain knowledge and insight into natural color diamonds; which are today considered one of the strongest segments of the jewelry industry,” said Robert May, executive director of NCDIA.
According to May, there is a growing interest in natural color diamonds within the jewelry trade and interest in more information and educational seminars on the subject.
