Expelled Diamantaire Stabbed
May 12, 11(IDEX Online News) - On Wednesday evening, an Israeli diamond trader was found near the Israeli diamond exchange with a knife in his chest. The man arrived at the hospital in critical condition, and is now reported to be in stable condition.
Tel Aviv county police is investigating the case, trying to determine if the 40 year old man was victim to a robbery. He was found by a pedestrian outside the Paz Tower, lying on the sidewalk by his car at around 9pm.
The victim was a member of the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) on a temporary standing, however he was recently expelled from the exchange. An IDE spokesperson declined to comment on the reason of the expulsion.
