Swarovski Targets India's "Rocket Market"
December 26, 24(IDEX Online) - Swarovski is to target India's lab grown market, with plans for up to 10 new stores in 2025.
The Austria-based company, best known for its crystal glass products, says India is one of its most important markets.
"We call India a rocket market as we see it growing heavily in the next couple of years into one of the top markets for the company," Nasr Sleiman, the company's managing director for southeast Asia, India, and Middle East, told the ETRetail news website.
"India is a land of opportunities, and there is a lot of potential in the country as a market."
Swarovski already has 70 monobrand stores in India, and over 200 multi-brand outlets. It has more than 6,600 points of sale globally.
