(PRESS RELEASE) - BrankoGems International Conference in Montana on "Exploring American Gems" with
Workshops on Gems and Diamonds, and guided visits to Sapphire Mines, June 13-15, 2025
After seven successful Mediterranean Gem and Jewellery Conferences (2015-2024) and 1 International Conference in Australia 2023, BrankoGems has organized the 1st USA International Conference in Helena, June 13-15, 2025 with pre and post conference trips to Yogo, Missouri River, and Rock Creek Sapphire Mines and Yellowstone Park (limited to maximum 30 for sapphire trips).
Many renowned International Experts will be discussing Sapphires from Montana, Turquoise Grading. Addressing the challenges and difficulties we all face in the identification and determination of natural vs. synthetic and treated diamonds and other gems.
Three Practical Workshops contain over 200 samples which offer solutions to these challenges by showing techniques utilizing standard and portable advanced gemological instruments.
'Treatment and origin determination of sapphires' (Dr. Lore Kiefert), 'Turquoise Grading' (Dan Joe Lowry) and 'ID of LGD' (Branko Deljanin). A Round Table moderated by Travis Lejman (MC), conference co-chair, with seven international experts will discuss 'Sapphire Origins' and 'LGD vs Natural Diamonds'.
