Tent for Hong Kong Exhibitors at Vegas

After being reassured by JCK Show management just two weeks ago that they will not be barred from exhibiting at the Show, Hong Kong exhibitors have now been told that they will be moved to a tent outside of the main Show Hall.
Such an isolation will have a drastic effect on the participation of the Hong Kong attendees. After speaking to several would-be exhibitors from Hong Kong, it is apparent that the new option is not acceptable to them and many are reconsidering their participation at the Show.
At the end of April, JCK Show Management assuaged the fears of the Hong Kong Jewelers who will be traveling to Vegas for the May 30th-June 3rd Show stating that "they will not prohibit exhibitors or attendees from areas affected by SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) from participating in the show." The Management did state though that they "have necessary plans in place to take additional precautions on very short notice.” The tent is apparently one such plan.
