While yesterday (Tuesday) was a busy day at the booths in the main venue at the
Diamond dealers are reporting decent sales at the main halls, seeing many local buyers willing to pay the price, but not buying great volumes. With many of the Jewish and Israeli exhibitors planning to close their booths on Thursday due to the Jewish New Year, they fear they won’t get much of the business. The general belief is that many buyers will make up their mind on what to buy (and at what price) as late as possible.
In the Fine Design Pavilion, another slow day was noted this morning, and many are starting to voice concern that the show won’t be very successful for them.
