Venus Jewel Integrates AGS Grading Parameters on Website

Available exclusively to AGS members, the AGS parameters software has been integrated by Venus Jewel into their website. This allows AGS members to search for diamonds on Venus’ site on the basis of light performance and proportion values, as well as the estimated AGS Cut Grade.

Along with the files downloadable for analysis on customers’ PGS software, ASET images of Round Brilliants are also available, with other shapes scheduled to follow shortly.

“We foresee this partnership leading to enhanced transparency not only about our extensive grading, but also the Performance Factors introduced by the American Gem Society,” Anil Shah, a partner at Venus Jewel, said in a release.

Approximately 40 percent of Venus Jewel’s loose polished diamond sales are made through its website. Established in 1969, the DTC Sightholder is currently grossing more than $335 million. It is also known for its pioneering use of technology.
