Neiman Marcus Q3 Comparable Revenues Down 2.5%
June 05, 08Luxury retailer Neiman Marcus reported total revenues of $1.06 billion for the 13 weeks ended April 26, compared to $1.07 billion in the prior year period. Comparable revenues dropped 2.5 percent, while adjusted operating earnings for the third quarter fell 7.8 percent to $166.5 million, from $180.6 million in the previous year.
For the 39 weeks ended April 26, revenues totaled $3.57 billion, up from $3.41 billion in the previous year, while comparable revenues increased 2.6 percent.
The company’s specialty retail stores earned revenues of $893.6 million for the 13-week period, over $908.0 million in 2007, and $2.992 billion for the thirty nine-week period, up from $2.858 billion in the previous year.
