Sarin Adds IDEX Online Diamond SRP to Planning Devices

Sarin Technologies, a leading developer of advanced diamond manufacturing and planning systems, released a conversion tool Monday that integrates IDEX Online’s newly released Diamond Suggested Retail Price (SRP) list into Sarin’s diamond-planning applications.

The tool downloads the Diamond SRP from IDEX Online’s website and converts it to Sarin’s price format. It is available for three of Sarin’s applications - Advisor, Instructor and DiaVision. Existing customers can log onto Sarin’s site and download the tool immediately.

Many of Sarin’s tools enable the manufacturer to pick and choose from different diamond cutting options in an effort to maximize the value of the resulting polished diamond, thus making the use of a unified price list a necessary component. 

Future versions of Sarin’s products will support an embedded importing capability of the Diamond SRP.

Endorsed by the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB), the SRP list is intended to fill a void in the market by providing transparent polished diamond pricing, increasing consumer confidence and boosting retail and wholesale sales.
