Alrosa: October Sales $228 Million

(IDEX Online News) - Russian diamond giant Alrosa on Monday said that it expects its diamond sales this month to total $228 million. The company is projecting rough and polished diamond sales of $3.460 billion this year.

Together with the sales figures, Alrosa stated that it is drafting a new three-year collective agreement with its employees’ labor union Profalmaz. The agreement is up for renewal in November.

Earlier this month, the company said that of the total annual diamond sales, the target for rough diamond sales is $3.3 billion.
