280 Offices Now Operational at Bharat Diamond Bourse

(IDEX Online News) – With 37 diamond firms making the move on October 24, which is the Hindu festival of Dassera, the Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB) now has over 280 operational offices.

The Dassera day move got close to 46,000 sq. ft. operational. The bourse has a total of 2 million sq. ft.

The operational offices represent just over 11 percent of the BDB’s listed membership of 2,441, but include the very largest and some of the most influential firms.

Among those who made the move on Dassera was current Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) Chairman Vipul Shah’s firm Asian Star.
