JFC to Hold NYC Fundraising Auction
January 31, 13(IDEX Online News) – Jewelers for Children (JFC) is to hold an inaugural
“The primary reason for hosting an event in New York City is to say ‘thank you’ to our generous sponsors for their generosity throughout the years,” said David Rocha,
JFC’s executive director. “The added element of silent and live auctions will give attendees an opportunity to take home some incredible items while also benefiting our charity partners.”
Companies that have donated items to the live auction include John Hardy, Judith Ripka, Honora, Scott Kay, Ashley & Emily and Michael Dawkins.
The silent auction will being on February 24 at the JA New York show and will conclude at the fundraiser.
Donations to the silent auction come from a number of companies including Antiquorum, Andy Castillo Art, RSP Media, Mia Sorelli Jewelry Design, International Gemological Institute and the Jewelers Resource Bureau.
The “JFC Celebrates New York City” fundraiser will be held at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers on February 25.
