Kristall and Alrosa Sign Long-Term Rough Diamond Supply Agreement

(IDEX Online News) – Kristall Production Corporation and Alrosa have signed a two-year agreement on rough diamond supply in which they will maintain the existing volumes of monthly rough purchases.
The official signing ceremony took place in Moscow on March 18 with the participation of Alrosa president Fyodor Andreev and Kristall general director Maxim Shkadov.
“Alrosa has taken into account our requests in regard of providing the rough diamond assortment that corresponds to our market niche and is most efficient for manufacturing, said Shkadov. “The negotiation process has turned to be quite productive, and its results satisfying for both the parties.”
Kristall, which recently celebrated its 50th anniversay, has been co-operating with Alrosa since the company's foundation in 1992.
