HK International Jewellery Show to be Split Into Two Venues

(IDEX Online News) – The Hong Kong International Jewellery Show will be divided into two venues starting with the March 2014, says organizers HKTDC.

The shows will be the HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show and the HKTDC Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem and Pearl Show.

Finished jewelry products will be exhibited at the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 5-9 March 2014, while the Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem and Pearl Show will be a specialized trade platform for loose stones and raw materials in the AsiaWorld-Expo from 3-7 March 2014.

“The brand new arrangement of '2 Shows 2 Venues' will allow more jewelry suppliers and manufacturers to participate, in which a greater variety of jewelry exhibits will be on feature," said Benjamin Chau, the deputy executive director of HKTDC.

"The two shows are perfectly timed and housed to generate a synergistic effect, maximizing exhibitors' exposure and buyers’ sourcing opportunities and providing a perfect setting for the shows to grow and prosper," he added.

HKTDC said that 3,341 jewelry suppliers and manufacturers and 42,113 buyers took part in the 30th Hong Kong International Jewellery Show last March.
