HRD Antwerp to Display Design Contest Entries at HK Show

HRD Antwerp says members of the public still have time to cast their vote for their favorite jewelry item via a QR code at the hrdawards.com web site or at the HRD Antwerp booth in Hong Kong. The fifth edition of the design competition, it is the first time that members of the public have been allowed to vote.
The winner of the contest and four finalists will be announced and the awards presented at a special prize-giving ceremony in Beijing on October 31. The winner will receive $10,000, while the four finalists will each receive $2,500.
The design contest, which aims to promote cutting-edge jewelry designs, drew entries from 602 designers from 47 countries. The theme of the 2013 competition was “Trompe l’oeil”, ir trick of the eye, attracted 1,350 designs.
The main sponsor of the 2013 HRD Awards competition is Tesiro Jewellery, while Ferrari Hong Kong is the official carrier of the HRD Awards 2013.
HRD Antwerp is also organizing a special event in Shenzen on September 14 for its alumni and the election of a new president of the HRD Antwerp China Antwerp Graduates Club.
