(IDEX Online News) – Large diamond earrings and cocktail rings quickly emerged as a red carpet favorite at this year’s 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards. Embodying this trend was film, television actress and past Golden Globe winner Kate Hudson, who sparkled as a presenter this year, wearing Forevermark Exceptional Diamond Earrings by Slane. She accentuated her white Atelier Versace dress with a diamond ring featuring a 14.58-carat oval Forevermark diamond and diamond line bracelet.

Platinum jewelry was another scene stealer during the awards. Strolling the Red Carpet before her co-hosting duties began Amy Poehler wore platinum jewelry by Beladora. Her red carpet look included platinum and diamond earrings signed by Tiffany & Co., a platinum and 7.7-carat diamond necklace with a South Sea pearl and stacked platinum and diamond bracelets.

No stranger to Hollywood glitz and glamour, Golden Globe nominee Jennifer Aniston kept it simple and elegant Sunday night, accentuating her sparkly black halter Saint Laurent gown with Neil Lane jewelry. She sported gold and onyx chandelier earrings, agold and diamond bangle bracelet and a black onyx, pearl and gold ring.

Television actress Taylor Schilling also went for the gold, wearing Tiffany & Co. jewelry provided by LoveGold.com. She wore Elsa Peretti 18-karat gold Bean earrings and Schlumberger 18-karat gold and enamel rings.

While Reese Witherspoon may have lost out in this year’s Golden Globes race, she shimmered in a Calvin Klein Collection silver gown, and sparkled in platinum and diamond earrings by Tiffany & Co as well as a platinum and 6.75-carat diamond ring, together reported to be worth more than $1 million.

Amy Adams was also adorned in Tiffany & Co. jewelry. She  scored a best actress win for film comedy in a classic look consisting of a draped power-blue Atelier Versace dress, platinum and diamond drop earrings, a platinum and diamond five-row bracelet and a platinum and 2.12-carat square cushion modified brilliant diamond ring.

The evening’s second Golden Globes best actress winner for a dramatic movie role, Julianne Moore, also followed the platinum trend with her Chopard jewelry. Though her custom Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci gown, which featured sequins and feathers at the hem, may not have needed any accessories, Moore wore platinum and diamond cluster earrings (14.7 carats), a platinum and asscher-cut diamond line bracelet (44.08 carats), a platinum and oval-cut diamond eternity band (7.7 carats), and a platinum and asscher-cut diamond eternity band (24.3 carats).

Proving the popularity of silver in this year’s Golden Globe Awards, German film and television actress Diane Kruger, looking sleek in a silvery Emilia Wickstead dress, wore platinum and diamond cluster earrings and platinum and diamond bracelets by Kwiat.

Adding to the evening’s star wattage was E! host Giuliana Rancic, who dazzled in diamonds, showing off a 40.79-carat Forevermark by Leo Schachter three row diamond cuff bracelet, a Forevermark by Premier Gem The Center of My Universe diamond bangle, 10-carat diamond stud earrings, a 13.56-carat radiant-cut Forevermark diamond ring and diamond bangles.

Golden Globe Nominee for her role in the  television miniseries The Missing Frances O'Connor stunned in a Forevermark by Premier Gem The Center of My Universe ring with a 10.11-carat cushion-cut Forevermark diamond, Forevermark by Galili & Co. diamond line bracelet, Forevermark by Rahaminov line bracelet, chandelier earrings, diamond eternity bands and diamond bangles.

Actress and British beauty Sienna Miller accentuated her beautiful beaded Miu Miu gown with platinum jewelry by Tiffany & Co. that included diamond drop earrings and a baguette diamond bow bangle.
