(IDEX Online News) – There was plenty of movement in round goods this week. While there were some price increases, the majority of the changes continue to be downwards, mostly in rounds, 0.30-0.80 carats, J+ / SI2+. However, smaller goods of 0.18-0.29 carats saw some positive changes of between 2 percent to 4.5 percent.

 

After some stability in fancy goods in recent weeks, there was more downward movement, with only 0.3-0.39-carat goods and those of 3 to 5 carats gaining any traction.

•            0.40-0.44 cts D-J / VVS1-SI2  down 2%-3% I-J / I1 up 4%-4.5%

•            1.50-1.99 cts many changes including L+ / VVS1-SI2 down 1%-3.5%, J / I1 up 3% 

 

•            2 cts G+ / VVS1-SI2 down 3%, I-N / I1 down 2-4%

 

•            3 cts I+ / VS1-I2 down 2%-3%

 

•            4 cts just two changes, J / VVS2 and H / SI2 down 3%
