Royal Asscher Signs Exclusive Distribution Agreement with Japan’s Uchihara Group

(IDEX Online News) – Amsterdam-based diamond and jewelry company Royal Asscher Diamond Company Ltd., and Japanese high-end diamond and jewelry distributor The Uchihara Group have signed an exclusive distribution agreement to further expand the brand’s activities in Japan.

The newly formed company, Royal Asscher of Japan, is now the new exclusive distributor for Royal Asscher diamonds and jewelry in Japan. Royal Asscher has maintained a brand presence in the Japanese market for over 50 years, with a select distribution network of high-end retailers, department stores, including operating two brand stores offering the Royal Asscher diamonds, and diamond jewelry lines.

The new partnership with The Uchihara Group will enable Royal Asscher to strengthen its brand activities in Japan even further and simultaneously support and grow the existing network with more efficiency. The company says that it has set out a strategy to grow the brand’s presence globally, with the primary focus on the Asian Pacific region, Europe and the United States of America. The newly formed company is a key element to the successful roll out of the company’s international expansion plans.
