Sotheby’s Magnificent Jewels Sale to Include 100-Carat Diamond

(IDEX Online News) – Sotheby’s upcoming Magnificent Jewels sale is one event that should live up to its name. More than 350 pieces are set to go on sale at the 21 April event and are expected to achieve in excess of $50 million.

Topping the highlights of the evening is a 100-carat emerald-cut diamond, which is anticipated to sell for between $19 and $25 million. The D / IF diamond is the largest “perfect” emerald-cut diamond ever offered at auction.
