IDEX Online Polished Price Changes – June 11, 2015

(IDEX Online News) – Once again, prices of rounds remained relatively stable this week, with many categories maintaining their current levels. There were more changes in goods above 0.7 carats up to 1.49 carats with most of the changes, both positive and negative, occurring in the lower colors.

Fancy-cut goods between 0.4 and 0.6 carats saw the most significant increase in prices, while smaller and larger goods had limited or no price changes either positive or negative.

• 0.23-0.29 cts G / VVS2 and J / IF down 2-2.5%
  
• 0.30-0.39 cts no change
  
• 0.40-0.44 cts D / I1 down 3%   L / SI1 up 3.5%
  
• 0.45-0.49 cts D / SI3-I1 down 2-2.5% and I-J / I1 down 4%
  
• 0.50-0.69 cts L / VS2-SI1 up 3%
  
• 0.70-0.79 cts L / SI1+ up 2-4%, L / I1-I2 down 4-5.5%
  
• 0.80-0.89 cts changes in the lower colors including K-N / SI1 up 2-3% and L-M / I1-I2 down 2-3%
  
• 0.90-0.99 cts H / VVS1+ down 2-3%
  
• 1.00-1.24 D and G / SI2 up 3-3.5%
  
• 1.25-1.49 cts K / I1 up 3%
  
• 1.50-1.99 cts J / SI2, K / SI1 and L / VVS1 up 4%
  
• 2 cts J-K / I1 up 2-3% and N / SI2-3 up 2-3%
  
• 3 cts N / SI2-3 up 2-2.5%
  
• 4 cts G / VS2 down 3%  and N / SI3 up 2%
  
• 5 cts D and I / VS1 down 2.5-3% and J-K / SI1 down 3%
