Exploration Fieldwork Shows Encouraging Signs For Botswana Diamonds

(IDEX Online News) – Botswana Diamonds has reported potentially encouraging geological finds after recent exploratory fieldwork carried out in Botswana by Sunland Minerals.
Geophysical and geochemical tests highlighted a geological anomaly on PL210 in the Orapa region, which it is hoped points to a strong possibility for the discovery of kimberlite.
“We have identified a very strong anomaly on PL210, which we will drill. The new ground that we have acquired in Gope also looks very promising. The ongoing joint venture with Alrosa goes from strength to strength, said John Teeling, executive chairman of Botswana Diamonds.
Additional surveying work was carried out in Gope on PLs 135 and 136, where there have also been strong indicators of magnetic anomalies.
