IJL 2015 Sets New Exhibitor Records

(IDEX Online News) – The 60^th Diamond Edition of the International Jewellery London industry event held at Olympia Grand in London surpassed previous records, including the appearance of 155 new exhibitors.

Over 550 exhibitors in all, from across 38 countries showcased their collections. The IJL reported that there was a 5-percent increase in the number of visitors, including from UAE, Germany, South America and Switzerland.

"We are delighted with the results achieved at IJL’s 60^th Diamond Edition and would like to thank everyone involved in making this year’s event such a resounding success. IJL just seems to get better and better each year. Our exhibitors have praised the great location, quality buyers and a superb environment in which to conduct business, resulting in an increase in our rebooking figures for 2016. Our Diamond Club visitors have commented on the wealth of first class exhibitors, as well as the array of innovative, industry information shared through the seminar programme and the jewelry trends brought to life on the catwalk,” said Sam Willoughby, the event director.

Exhibitors were also enthusiastic about the IJL event.

“IJL met our business needs well – introducing us to a wide range of buyers and press. One of our favorite parts has been the media exposure and there seemed to be a good number of the jewelry industry here at the show,” said Teresa Timberlake, Director, TLKE.
