(IDEX Online News) – Once again, the trend of downward price movement continued for round goods this week. The most movement was seen in stones sized between 1-3.99 carats.

 

There were relatively fewer changes when it came to fancy goods. After weeks of almost only positive price increases, this week saw certain categories dropping in price, especially goods sized 0.3-0.39 carats and 1.5-1.99 carats.

·         0.18-0.22 cts changes including D-I / SI1 -3-4.5%

 

·         0.23-0.29 D / VVS1 -2% and G / VS2 -3%

 

·         0.30-0.39 cts changes including D-E/ SI1-I1 -2-3.5%

 

·         0.40-0.44 cts a few changes including H / VS2-SI2 -2-3%

 

·         0.45-0.49 cts a few changes including F-G / VS1 -3.5-4%

 

·         0.50-0.69 cts F-H / SI3 -2% and M-N / SI3-I1+4-5.5%

 

·         0.70-0.79 cts a few limited changes including J and L / IF -2-3% and I / SI3 -3%
