IGI to Host On-Sight Diamond Lab at Dubai International Jewellery Week

(IDEX Online News) – International Gemological Institute (IGI) will host an on-site diamond laboratory at the upcoming Dubai International Jewellery Week. Visitors to IGI will receive free verbal consultations on the quality of their diamonds and diamond jewelry.

“UAE is the leading diamond market in the Middle East, and participating in Dubai International Jewellery Week helps us to create greater awareness among traders and consumers of the importance of diamond jewelry certification,” said IGI Dubai MD Nico D'Haemer.

“At the event, visitors to our on-site laboratory can receive advice on the quality of their jewellery. If they wish to do an in-depth evaluation and grading, that can be done at our laboratory in Almas Tower, Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC).”

The Almas Tower is home to IGI’s largest laboratory and education center in the Middle East.
