ALROSA Tells Clients Long-Term Contracts Remain ‘Cornerstone’ of Business
December 09, 15(IDEX Online News) – During a meeting with long-term clients, ALROSA management has told its customers that long-term contracts will remain the “cornerstone” of its sales policy.
Such a diamond sales system provides the company and its clients with “stable rough diamond supply and protects from market fluctuations, which is particularly topical in a weakening market.”
During the meeting to summarize the preliminary results of 2015 and to discuss current market trends, ALROSA management, headed by president Andrey Zharkov, explained that during 2015 it had followed a conservative sales policy, having cut down the prices and rough diamond sales volumes.
