Sarine Expects ‘Significant Improvement’ in Revenue in Q4

(IDEX Online News) – Diamond technology toolmaker Sarine Technologies Ltd has announced that it expects final revenue for the fourth quarter of the year to total approximately $12.25 million. While this will be a quarter-over-quarter improvement, results are anticipated to be lower than in Q4 2014.
The company saw an improvement in orders of the Galaxy™ family, with 13 systems shipped during the quarter, comprising a mix of various systems including the new Meteor™.
Consequently, on the basis of preliminary estimated revenues and operating expenses, Sarine expects to report a modest profit from operations in Q4.
The company also said that pilot programs of the Sarine Profile™ with key US and Chinese and Hong Kong retailers have progressed overall satisfactorily, with some initial users reporting positive quantitative sales feedback.
The development of the derivative technologies based on the Sarine Light™ and Sarine Loupe™, complementing the Sarine Profile™, is also progressing, with partial beta implementation for selected customers expected during Q1 2016.
