Diamcor Recovers 2 Special Diamonds From Venetia
March 22, 16(IDEX Online News) – Diamcor Mining Inc. announced that it has recovered two special – more than 10.8-carat – diamonds from Krone-Endora at Venetia Project in South Africa.
The recovery of the two gem-quality rough stones – 11.64- and 12.73-carats – occurred during initial testing of the Tomra XRT system. The company is integrating this system to allow it to test the effects of further concentrating and reducing the size fractions of material being processed at the Project's Main-Treatment Plant. Diamcor also hopes that Tomra XRT will reduce overall water consumption and reduce the operation costs involved in the use of heavy equipment.
Diamcor said that it expects to sell the stones at upcoming tenders in the next fiscal quarter.
