GIA Launches Digital Diamond Focus Report

(IDEX Online News) – The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has announced the recent launch of its GIA Diamond Focus Report, a low-cost digital diamond report for natural, D-to- Z colour, round brilliant-cut diamonds weighing between 0.15 and 0.39 carats.

The Diamond Focus Report includes information that comes from the same standards and processes used for all other GIA report services. Specifically, it includes information on the 4Cs, as well as a polish and symmetry grade with a fluorescence description. It also includes laser inscription of the GIA report number. The results recorded in the report are available through GIA’s online report and can be downloaded from the GIA website.

The Diamond Focus Report is expected to be of particular interest in India, the Middle East and China, where goods between 0.15 and 0.39 carats are more popular.
