Venus Jewel Teams Up with Jewelers for Children
May 29, 16(IDEX Online News) – Venus Jewel has announced that it will partner with jewelry industry non-profit organization Jewelers for Children (JFC), to raise awareness and funds for the charity during the JCK Las Vegas show.
Mumbai-headquartered manufacturer Venus Jewel is launching an online challenge to communicate its website capabilities to the US market. It said that for every person who accepts the challenge at its Vegas booth, it will make a donation to support JFC’s fundraising needs.
Venus Jewel partner Rajesh Shah said that his company’s link-up with Jewelers for Children was part of its commitment to family values and corporate philosophy. “Our family has focused on CSR activities in India and now with this great charity, we are thrilled to be working closely with a group that really makes a difference in the US and internationally,” said Shah.
“We are honored that Venus Jewel has chosen to partner with Jewelers for Children as they showcase their company and website capabilities to the US retail market,” said JFC executive director David Rocha. “Their focus on social responsibility and history of supporting causes, is clearly tied in with our mission, and their support will help us to reach even more children in the year ahead.”
Venus Jewel was the first Indian manufacturer to become a certified member of the Responsible Jewelry Council (RJC). It is also the official supplier of branded diamonds under De Beers’ Forevermark, Rio Tinto’s Mine of Origin and Dominion Diamond Corporation’s CanadaMark programs.
