GJEPC Organizes India Pavilion at JCK Las Vegas
June 02, 16(IDEX Online News) – The Gem and Jewelry Export Promotion Council has announced that it will present the India Pavilion at JCK Las Vegas, which will include more than 50 leading gem and jewelry exporters.
Indian manufacturers and retailers will exhibit an array of gems and jewelry, including loose diamonds, loose colored gemstones, plain gold jewelry as diamond and colored stone studded jewelry developed especially for the show.
“India is burgeoning with vibrancy, passion and dynamism creating a niche for itself,” said GJEPC chairman Praveenshankar Pandya. “Today India accounts for 23 percent of jewellery imports by the USA. The platform like JCK Las Vegas plays an important role in further improving our trade relationship with the country.”
India’s gem and jewelry trade exports reached $38.44 billion for 2015, of which $8.7 billion were to the US.
