More than 50 Israeli Companies to Exhibit at Hong Kong Show

(IDEX Online News) – The Israel Diamond Institute Group of Companies (IDI) has announced that it will host more than 50 Israeli companies at its diamond pavilion at the June Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair. An additional 10 Israeli companies will exhibit in other areas throughout the show.
In repetition of last year’s show, IDI will run its Find Your Diamond system, enabling a search of all Israeli exhibitors at the show. It will be available in Chinese as well as English, and will also be available on smartphones. IDI will launch a special website for the Hong Kong show too, which will include background and contact information, as well as a map of the Israel Diamond pavilion.
Asia is Israel’s second largest market for polished diamonds representing about 30 percent of total polished diamond exports, with the Hong Kong taking the largest share. In 2015, Israel’s polished diamond exports to Hong Kong totaled $1.4 billion. Israel is also a major supplier of polished diamonds to China, India, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan and other Asian markets.
