Responsible Gold to be a Major Theme of VICENZAORO January
December 25, 16(IDEX Online) – Italian Exhibition Group S.p.A. (IEG), the trade show company founded by the merger of Rimini Fiera and Fiera di Vicenza, the next edition of VICENZAORO January, the International Jewellery Boutique, will take place in Vicenza from January 20 to 25.
The show will feature products, new collections and innovations brom more than 1,500 brands from 36 different countries.
This year, the show will emphasize its commitment to promoting Corporate Social Responsibility in the gold and jewelry industry with a range of events on the theme aimed at the visitors, buyers, journalists and others that are expected to arrive from over 120 different nations.
Corrado Facco, Managing Director of Italian Exhibition Group Spa, said VICENZAORO has evolved and positioned itself among the top international trade shows for the jewelry sector by structuring it as a high-performance business platform and also an authoritative jewelry think-tank, providing quality content and information on market trends and dynamics.
In 2015, the innovative Boutique Show format was introduced in which the goods on offer are arranged in six specially created areas of the fair: ICON, LOOK, CREATION, EXPRESSION, ESSENCE and EVOLUTION making companies more easily identified for visitors and buyers.
VICENZAORO January will also introduce an important program as part of the project to promote Made in Italy jewelry production. Over 500 profiled buyers from the main markets will be hosted during the show and guided along their own particular buyer trails.
The main theme of VICENZAORO January will be Responsible Gold, a path already embarked upon in past editions to promote Corporate Social Responsibility in the gold and jewelry world, which involves important topics such as the value of traceability, ethical trade, environmental protection, and safeguarding the right and duty to work and health protection.
There will be two important events dedicated to CSR, including a seminar in collaboration with CIBJO, the World Jewellery Confederation, on January 22. And on January 23, there will be a talk on traceability during the Assogemme Ethical Committee conference with the support of several of the first well-known luxury companies to commit themselves to sustainability projects.
Trends will also play a leading role during the Show, with the presence of the TRENDVISION Jewellery + Forecasting team from the independent world gold and jewelry forecasting Observatory and the new TRENDBOOK 2018+, a guide and reference for the gold and jewelry industry worldwide.
A seminar on January 20 presented by Paola De Luca, Forecaster & Creative Director of TRENDVISION Jewellery + Forecasting, will provide an update on consumer profiles, styles and product orientations and trend forecasts for 2017-2018.
