GJEPC to Host India Pavilion at Vicenzaoro Winter 2017

(IDEX Online) – The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) is to host an India Pavilion with 16 exhibitors displaying jewelry, loose stones and machinery at the Vicenzaoro Winter 2017 show being held from January 20 to 25.
The show will have around 1,500 exhibitors from Italy and across the globe. It is widely seen as presenting the new styles and jewelry trends for the year.
GJEPC Chairman Praveenshankar Pandya said in a statement, “Europe is an important market for the Indian gem and jewelry industry, and Italy is an entry point for Europe in general and EU countries. Participation of Indian exhibitors not only helps us to improve our trade but it also helps us to understand the market better and come up with jewelry pieces as per the latest and future trends for this market.”
India’s total exports of gems and jewelry to Europe had a value of $3.28 billion in 2016.
