India Posts Decline In Polished Diamond Exports In October

(IDEX Online) – India's polished exports in October plunged by 23 percent to $1.93 billion.
Polished exports for the April to October period declined by 2.7 percent to $13.8 billion, according to the figures released by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC).
The GJEPC said that imports of rough dropped by 35.7 percent in October to $807 million, but for the April to October period rough edged down 1.5 percent in October to $9.97 billion.
