Beaverbrooks Celebrates 100th Birthday with $125,000 Advent Calendar

(IDEX Online) - British jeweler Beaverbrooks is getting a jumpstart on the holiday season with the launch of its £100,000 ($125,000) advent calendar. The "diamond a day" calendar includes diamond rings, necklaces and earrings. 

As reported by Metro, the calendar features 25 drawers that the lucky owner will open in the countdown to Christmas. Nestled inside are a Once platinum diamond solitaire ring worth £26,000 ($32,400), £4,250 ($5,300) Beyond Brilliance 18-carat white and rose gold diamond earrings, which feature Beaverbrooks' 100 facet diamonds, and a 9-karat white gold diamond pendant from the True Connections collection that retails for £975 ($1,200).

While the £100,000 eye-watering price tag is out of many people's budgets, whoever buys this special calendar will save a cool £23,000 ($28,600) over buying the pieces individually - making it a very merry Christmas.
