The IDEX Online Polished Price Report for April 3, 2014

(IDEX Online News) – As in recent weeks, round diamonds saw a great deal of trading activity with the overwhelming number of changes being positive, according to the weekly IDEX Online Price Report.
The trend of recent weeks continues with lower levels of activity in fancy shape diamonds with the majority being negative.
The following are some of the changes in this week's IDEX Online Diamond Price Report.

- 0.18-0.22 cts I / VS2-SI2 declines of 3-5%
- 0.23-0.29 cts J-K / VS2-SI1 rises of 3-5%
- 0.30-0.39 cts many increases in better colors and clarities
- 0.40-0.44 cts a wide range of increases
- 0.45-0.49 cts many increases in better colors and clarities
- 0.50-0.69 cts G-K / SI1-SI2 rises of 2-3%
- 0.70-0.79 cts just one change, downwards
- 0.80-0.89 cts several declines
- 0.90-0.99 cts L / IF-VS1 declining by 3%
- 1.00-1.24 cts several risers
- 1.25-1.49 cts D-G / SI1 rises of 2-3%
- 2 cts M / SI2-I1 rises of 3%
- 3 cts equal number of rises and declines
- 4 cts just three changes; two up, one down
- 5 cts several declines
