The IDEX Online Polished Price Report for May 29, 2014

(IDEX Online News) – In contrast to the past several weeks, there was thin activity in round diamonds, especially among larger items, according to the weekly IDEX Online Price Report.

In fancy shape diamonds, there were again many changes which were mostly positive, but with many decreases.

The following are some of the changes in this week's IDEX Online Diamond Price Report.

• 0.30-0.39 cts K / IF-VS1 rises of 2-3%
• 0.40-0.44 cts just one change, upwards
• 0.45-0.49 cts K / SI2 +3.2% to $1,600 p/c
• 0.50-0.69 cts just one change, downwards
• 0.70-0.79 cts F-H / I3 declines of 4%
• 0.80-0.89 cts F-H / I3 declines of 4%
• 0.90-0.99 cts mostly rising
• 1.00-1.24 cts just two changes, both rising
• 1.25-1.49 cts just two changes, one rising and one declining
• 2 cts unchanged
• 3 cts F / IF+3.1% to $53,300 p/c
• 4 cts unchanged
• 5 cts no changes

• 0.18-0.22 cts D / VS1 +3.2% to $1,600 p/c
• 0.23-0.29 cts D-E / VS2 rises of 3%
• 0.30-0.39 cts three changes, two up and one down
• 0.40-0.44 cts rises in better colors and clarities
• 0.45-0.49 cts H-J / VS2 rising by 3%
• 0.50-0.69 cts E-G / SI1 rising by 2%
• 0.70-0.79 cts several rises in better colors
• 0.80-0.89 cts F-I / I1 declines of 2-3%
• 0.90-0.99 cts just one change, upwards
