Forevermark Unveils Precious Collection in HK

De Beers diamond brand Forevermark unveiled on Tuesday the Forevermark Precious Collection. The line showcases interpretation of “Precious” by renowned designers and authors.
The Forevermark Precious Collection includes jewelry designs by supermodel Alek Wek, graphic designer Alan Chan, jewelry designer Bao Bao Wan, fashion designer Barney Cheng, jewelry designer Cindy Chao, artist and designer Jiang Qiong Er, fashion modernist Limi Yamamoto, Oscars jewelry designer Mona Mehta and couturier Tarun Tahiliani.
“Since the beginning of time, diamonds have inspired countless myths, tales and legends,” Forevermark CEO Francois Delage said during the introduction in Hong Kong. “Whatever the story, it will always be one that is intensely personal and always unique – no two stories are the same – just as no two Forevermark diamonds are the same.”
The designers worked with some of the few diamantaires that are eligible to cut and polish Forevermark diamonds: Diamond Trading Company (DTC) Sightholders Dimexon, Rosy Blue, Pluczenik, Chow Tai Fook, Steinmetz, Tasaki Shinju and Shrenuj.
The Precious Stories are contributed by Alexander McCall Smith – creator of the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency series; writer, academic and presenter Chang Man Chuan; award-winning author and poet Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni; Naoki prize winner Mariko Hayashi; travel writer Paul Theroux; bestselling novelist Philippa Gregory; writer Wang Anyi and writer Xi Xi.
