JCK New Delhi Show Cancelled

Organizers of the JCK New Delhi Show announced that the jewelry show will not be held this summer, and may not be held in 2010 either. Reed Exhibitions explained the move by the downturn in India’s jewelry market.
“Due to the effect of the global economic downturn on the domestic jewellery market in India, Reed Exhibitions have taken the decision to postpone the 2009 edition of JCK,” an announcement posted on the company’s website said.
The show was scheduled to be held June 27-30.
Reed added that an announcement regarding the 2010 event will be made “in due course.”
Since its inception, the show did not attract the large attendance it hoped to see at the exhibit.
