Necklace Boasts World’s Largest Flawless Diamond

(IDEX Online News) – Luxury jeweler Mouawad has unveiled its “L’Incomparable” necklace, which is set with an internally flawless 407.48-carat shield step-cut cognac diamond. The eye-catching 18 karat rose gold necklace features 91 diamonds with a total weight of 637 carats.

The Incomparable was discovered by a little girl in the Democratic Republic of Congo in 1980 in a pile of kimberlite that was sorted out because it was thought to be too bulky to contain any diamonds.
